Built-in Tools
Every Uranus agent ships with a registry of built-in tools the LLM can call during the agentic loop. This page is the complete reference — 77 tools across 16 categories.
Tools marked ⚠ approval are in TOOLS_REQUIRING_APPROVAL and pause for human confirmation before executing (see Human-in-the-Loop).
Selective loading
Not all 77 tools are sent to the model on every turn. Selective tool loading sends only the categories relevant to the request, cutting token usage substantially. See Tool Calling → Selective Tool Loading.
Task & ongoing work

Stratos wallet
The Stratos wallet integration exposes a multi-chain wallet (Canton / EVM / BTC / Tron) configured per agent. All five tools require the agent's Stratos portal URL and API credentials to be set; without them the tools return a clear "not configured" error.

The stratos_transfer tool description advises calling stratos_addresses first when unsure which chains the wallet supports. Balance parsing is defensive — if the parsed balances array is empty but the raw portal response shows non-zero balances, the tool reports the raw response verbatim so the discrepancy is visible.

When the agent runs in a gateway conversation (Telegram, email, etc.), approval is requested through that channel; in the dashboard chat it appears inline.
